The Simpson Desert is on many 4×4 enthusiasts bucket list, and if it isn’t, it’s because they don’t know how amazing it is but also incredibly challenging.
Straddling three states, the Simpson Desert is the largest parallel sand dune desert in the world. More than 1200 red sand dunes roll across the top of South Australia up towards Alice Springs and up to Birdsville in outback Queensland.
We are about to travel the Simpson Desert for the 3rd time, from South to North along the French line.
Leaving in early June for 10 days, cant wait.
Keep an eye out here for photos when we return, end of June.
