2013 – The Kimberleys & Karijini National Park – Western Australia

This year we saw the Kimberleys in a completely new light.  This was our third trip to the Kimberleys and it is ranks as one of our favorite places in Australia.

We took the ‘Kimberley Kruiser Black Caviar’ towed by the Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series.

We were amazed how far we could go with such a luxurious off-road Karavan!

We traveled straight up to Lake Argyle Kununarra, passing the Devils Marbles, making many overnight stops by rivers and water holes. Then we met some friends from Brisbane who were joining us in their Kimberley Kamper (limited edition) to take on the Gibb River Road and the Kimberleys. Wow, it is still as fantastic as it was back in 2003 and 2010.

After the Kimberleys we went to Broome, then down to Karijini National Park, another amazing place and so picturesque, a place not to be missed.

Do this trip while you are young enough to do lots of hiking, there’s so much to see but you need to be fit and active to really appreciate and see everything.
